Step 1. Tools and Supplies: Wire Cutter Small Saw Super Glue Sand Paper/File 3/32" Tube 22 ga Galvanized Wire Step 2. Cut: First cut two sections of the 3/32" tube with the saw. One will be for the scabbard (1 9/16") and the other for the handle (9/16"). Don't forget to sand both the handle and the scabbard. Next, take a straightened piece of wire and cut it (2 1/8") with the wire cutter. Step 3. Attach and Trim: Put super glue on one end of the wire, making sure you don't put more on than will fit in the handle. Insert the wire into the handle. Once it dries, trim the end of the wire at an angle to create the tip of the blade. Step 4. Check the Fit: Check to make sure that the blade will fit properly into the scabbard. You may have to adjust the blade by bending and straightening the wire. Step 5. Paint: Now were ready to paint (I recommend acrylics like Model Masters Acrylics, Citadel Paints, or Tamiya Paints). First, prime the weapon. Then paint the whole thing flat black. Next, paint the blade steel. Once the paint dries, seal it with Testors Glosscote or Dullcote and you're finished!
