Step 1. Tools and Supplies: Hobby Knife Small Saw Sand Paper/File 3/32" Tubing 1mm Styrene Super Glue Step 2. Cut: Cut a 1" section of 3/32" tubing (handle) and a 9/16" X 3/16" piece of 1mm styrene (blade). Sand both pieces. Step 3. Shape: To shape the blade, cut a 45 degree angle on the end of the 1mm styrene. Then round it with a file or sandpaper. Finally add an edge to the blade by sanding both sides at the top and curved section of the blade. Step 4. Attach: Attach the blade to the handle about 1/16" fro the top of the handle. Step 5. Paint: Now, it's time to paint. I'm using Testors Model Masters Acrylics. First, prime the kama. Then paint the whole thing flat black. Next paint the blade steel. Once the paint dries, seal it with Testors Glosscote or Dullcote. Step 6. Detail: You can add bands and wraps as wells as fill the holes with green stuff.
